Office of Planning and Development
For the past eight years, the Office of Planning &
Development (OPD) has functioned to insure coordination among various LHAND
departments in a number of areas.
During the past year, OPD focused on
overseeing the development and implementation of LHAND’s neighborhood
revitalization strategies, including the creation of affordable housing through
the Infill Housing Program; coordinated the city’s Continuum of Care homeless
initiative; coordinated grant writing efforts; and, oversaw activities of the
Neighborhood Services Office.
OPD also worked with the city’s Office of
Economic and Community Development (OECD) on the preparation of the city’s
5-year Consolidated Plan and Annual Action Plan. Additionally, the Grants
Manager oversees daily operations of the Lynn Community Connections Coalition
(LCCC) Program.
OPD was also involved with the preparation of LHAND’s Public
Housing Agency (PHA) Five-Year and yearly Annual Housing Plans.
