McGee House
Built in 1898 and named after Ms. Mary O’Shea McGee for her lifelong dedication for the city of Lynn, this property is located on 37 Green Street. As a teenager Ms. McGee worked in Lynn’s world famous shoe shops and later became a union organizer at the Lynn shoe factories. Named after Mayor Thomas McGee’s grandmother, the McGee House property features 85 units with full kitchens built for elderly and disabled adults. Residents can find an accessible laundry area along with a community space at this location.
